Roads and Maritime Services has started work on a $1.4 million project to improve the road on Waterfall Way after landslips near Bellingen.

The work will stablise the road and improve safety for all road users.
“This project includes work to stabilise the road, improve drainage and restore the road shoulder and safety barriers at Myers Bluff and Gordonville Cutting, west of Bellingen,” a Roads and Maritime spokesperson said.
“It follows recently completed repair work on Waterfall Way at the nut farm, 9km west of Bellingen.
"The Waterfall Way is an important route connecting the mid north coast to Coffs Harbour and beyond and Roads and Maritime Services is committed to ensuring it continues to service the community well into the future.”
The project will take three months to complete, weather permitting, and be carried out from 7am to 6pm on weekdays.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane 24 hours a day and motorists may experience delays of up to 15 minutes.
Motorists are advised to plan their journey, allow extra travel time and follow all signs.
