The game was a fitting end to the season, with parents and spectators treated to a great display of skill, teamwork and sportsmanship.
This year all of the 9's teams were coached by current junior players. The Bats were coached by Max Sandstrom and Jarrah Mosco-Klipin, while the Blazers were coached by Asama and Ben Radford and the third team, the Blitz, were co-coached by Chai Locher-Davis.
This year BFC has seen an unprecedented amount of younger players giving back to the club taking up coaching, co-coaching and refereeing duties.
All of these coaches gave their time each week for training as well as offering support when their time allowed during game day. They have all proven to be wonderful role models to the young players this year and it was a pleasure to have them involved in the 9's competition.
