Businesses, clubs, schools, social groups and neighbours are invited register a community crew for an exciting day of total fun - the annual Coffs Coast Dragon Boat regatta to be held on Sunday, September 21.
Dragon boat paddling is easy which is why it has become one of the world’s fastest growing water sports. It’s a great way to build team spirit, make new friends and promote your company name as you and your colleagues hurtle down the river to the beat of the drum. What a great social day for your company and one you’ll all talk about for a long time to come.
To form a team 16 – 20 paddlers over 12 years are needed in the men’s, women’s and mixed community sections. Junior or school team paddlers must be between 12 – 18 years.
The entry fee is only $20 per adult and $10 per junior.
All community teams will receive two free training sessions and one compulsory safety session prior to the regatta day and all equipment will be supplied.
Coffs Coast Dragon Boat Regatta will be sponsored again this year by Ryan Earthmoving. Races will commence on Sunday September 21 from 8am. Winners will be announced and prizes presented around 3pm. Food, drinks and coffee will be available all day.
Talk to your friends and enter a crew today. Close off date to register a team is August 16. It’s a great day for spectators too.
