A woman has been charged over the alleged stabbing of a man during a domestic-related assault at Bowraville on Saturday.

About 6:30pm, Saturday, a man pulled into the driveway of his house on South Arm Road where he was met by his ex-partner.
His ex-partner allegedly smashed her car into his before throwing a pot plant at the car and then breaking into the premises.
Once inside the house the woman allegedly armed herself with a knife before attacking the 57-year-old man and stabbing him in the face.
He was able to restrain her before police arrived.
The 55-year-old woman was arrested and charged with malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and refused bail to appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court on Sunday.
The injured man was taken to Macksville Hospital where he received treatment for a large cut near his eye.
