The supported playgroup returns Monday, February 3.
If you are interested in Mahjong the group is on deck again on Friday, January 17, while the craft group sharpens their scissors on Tuesday, January 14.
We look forward to the increased computer classes becoming available in the New Year.
One on one lesson will now be available Monday Wednesday and Friday.
The cost is $7 for members and $10 for general public (membership is $3 per year).
On this subject we have to say thank you to Cheryl who was our popular Monday teacher she has semi retired but will remain on standby.
Thanks Cheryl from all those who surf the net more easily because of your expertise.
We will continue our walk around the businesses in town in the new year but we would like to finish with a big friendly hello to the new pair in town, plenty of interest has been generated in our newest eatery, namely Embers Woodfired Restaurant.
I believe they were booked solid out until Christmas. Can't wait to try out the hand-rolled pizzas or gourmet ice cream.
Hi to Amanda and Rod, we love pasta here at the Centre.
It was so good to see the rain hold off for our Carols on the Green, thanks to all the children who sang their hearts out and to the Ukaladies for their stirring rendition of Carols and old favourites.
Yvonne Whiley plays carefully as she is very proud of her beautiful nails, I don't think there is any truth to the rumor that she only plays one cord.
A bouquet of the day must go to Jo at the Urunga Laundrette, my daughters left some washing in a machine, later that day a knock on the door and there was our forgotten washing dried and beautifully presented to us.
Also our curtains at the centre were washed and ready to pick up in record time.
No wonder we all love Urunga, where else would you receive such attention.
In closing I would like to say I was so happy to know all the thoughts of my friends surrounded me at the difficult time of John's illness.
If at this time of year we can feel this glow, this inner love, this shine, lets try to keep the Christmas spirit at least until July.
