You can become part of this voice on Sunday, November 17, at Bellingen by joining a National Protest Day organised by GetUp! and the Bellingen Environment Centre locally.
The event will be held in the park next to the council chambers from 10am .
Bring food, a mat, and anything needed for a picnic in the sun and if possible a sign displaying the words ‘Bellingen wants climate action’.
"Dressing up in hot colours - as if we are in a heat wave will allow everyone to join in our photo shoot. Coloured zinc paint will also make you more attractive," organisers said.
GetUp! plans to collect as many photos as possible to make sure that politicians and the media know just how many are involved around Australia.
