Six athletes from Urunga Little Athletics Centre recently competed at the Regional Athletics Championships held at Tamworth. All athletes did us proud, with five of them qualifying for the State Championships to be held at Sydney Olympic Park this coming weekend. Jesse Vincent Ellis won gold in both his Shot Put and Discus, Rhiannah Neaves came 1st in 1500m Race Walk, Karlie Swanson 2nd 3000m Run, Aidan Neaves 3rd in both 200m Hurdles, and 200m Sprint, 6th 90m Hurdles and Lucas Van Haren 3rd in Shot Put 7th Long Jump.Josh Little 7th 60m Hurdles and 9th Discus. All these are fantastic

results as our kids were up against the best in the Region! Our athletes and their families would once again like to thank Go Bello Go for their ongoing support to the athletes of our centre.

CLUB COMPETITION: Our season has nearly come to an end, with our last competition day on 25th March. Our presentation day will be held on the 1st April (no joke). All positions will be declared vacant and we welcome any new faces to put hands up for positions on the committee.
